Asset Protection Specialist (LINC) (contract role, posted on Jan 31, 2023)

The Specialist will be critical to the success of the most complex and important business unit of our Client. The specialist will support field asset protection teams throughout APAC with protecting their people and property in assigned areas, maintaining a safe and secure environment for guests, while educating store teams and partners (in collaboration with Asset Protection Managers)
A day in the life: what you’ll do
• Be an ambassador for all things Asset Protection; uphold a strong culture of ethics, integrity, and personal responsibility
• Produce reporting and research, utilizing exception based reporting system and investigative tools to investigate and minimize losses.
• Form part of the global intelligence centre
• Influence regional and store retail partners with minimizing risk to people and property.
• Deliver support to asset protection team to execute AP strategy.
• Deliver support to senior manager international asset protection with major security risks such as natural disasters or workplace violence as necessary.
• Support and/or lead with the resolution of incidents of loss, safety, emergency management, crisis response and physical security impact retail locations across international markets.
• Execute key priorities to support a culture built around a vision of security and safety.
• Coordinate investigation into external and internal theft related concerns.
• Input loss related incidents into case management systems.
• Advise regional and store leadership on security and safety related matters, in collaboration with asset protection managers.
Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree or 2-3 years related experience life safety and security experience, including direct experience identifying and leading internal investigations.
• 5+ years of retail operations management, including multiple retailers.
• Formal Interview and Interrogation training, preferred WZ.
• Experience utilizing exception based reporting tool, specifically Sysrepublic.
• Experience supporting multi-store locations

Job Overview
The role will include business development and project delivery of the FPIR service line, including fraud investigations, intellectual property investigations and compliance/regulatory investigations.
Key Accountabilities
Business development
Build and sustain relationships with existing Clients, and identifies and approaches new opportunities through targeted client meetings, seminars, industry and chamber events and general networking in Hong Kong SAR and broader Asia.
Project delivery
Advising clients on appropriate project methodology, drafting proposal and producing project reports
Collection, collation and analysis of public domain / open-source and client-owned information vis-a-vis ongoing projects
Deploying appropriate methodology for enquiries and review actions
Reviewing and consulting on client policies, procedures and processes
Advising client on integrity risk / loss prevention mitigation measures
Formulating and delivery of ethics and integrity risk training programs
Coordinating projects and managing resources
Assisting other project teams with required skills and knowledge
Developing new business with existing and new clients
Leadership
Lead by example by professional project management of engagements, working effectively with senior management and providing guidance and support for team members
Manage client contacts and client expectations
Responsible for final deliverable to clients
Must be able to work under sustained pressure ability to set goals, develop plans and objectives and deliver results
Drives a culture of achievement and ensures projects result in expected outputs. Strives for quality, and ensures compliance with regulatory requirements
Financial targets
Actively take responsibility for personal and country revenue trends to adjust efforts and pricing as appropriate, and to coordinate resource allocation to maximize revenue opportunities, identify revenue opportunities, and develop client opportunities across all countries where possible with the goal of achieving revenue and gross profit objectives. Also, manage profitability development through oversight of costs and overheads through continued development of service line implementation and related allocations
Key Performance Indicators
Performance will be based on agreed targets set as part of an appraisal and objective setting process.
Qualifications
We are looking for a highly motivated and experienced professional with:
Experience: 5-10 years of experience in areas including Financial Investigation, Compliance, Accounting, Computer Forensics, Fraud Risk Assessment, Investigations and case management, project management.
Professional qualifications (e.g. CPA or legal qualifications) strongly preferred.
Delivering Results: Business driven. Has ability to deliver solutions within time and budget. The ideal candidate should be bringing a book of existing accounts and revenue.
Leadership: Ability to work with and through people and internal and external stakeholders at very senior levels so as to achieve organisations long term goals.
Integrity: Maintains social, ethical, professional and organisational standards and values, always honours commitments.
