Prior to Cisco, Mr. Lerigo was a career diplomat, serving in the UK Foreign and Commonwealth Office (FCO) in a number of specialties, including Russia and the former Soviet Republics, China/Hong Kong, EU and International Crime. In these roles he traveled extensively and undertook postings in Cyprus, China and Hong Kong.

Prior to this role Mr. Lerigo led Cisco’s Brand Protection organisation in Asia, protecting the company from the theft of intellectual property, countering the risk from grey market and ensuring compliance with company policies to protect and enhance a comprehensive ecosystem of partners, distributors and customers. He also worked closely with peer companies, government and enforcement officials, together with trade associations and chambers of commerce to build a system of information and best practice sharing for industry as whole.
